Ingredients

  • 2 Tbsp. Bentonite clay
  • 2 Tbsp. apple cider vinegar
  • 1 Tbsp. distilled water

Instructions

  • Mix all ingredients in a glass bowl with a wooden spoon. Avoid bringing the clay in contact with metal. The mixture should be smooth and easy to spread. If too thick, add more water; if too thin, add more clay.
  • Wet hair, then distribute mixture evenly through hair and scalp with your fingers. Massage scalp and let the mixture sit for about 5 minutes.
  • Rinse thoroughly with warm water. Optional: do an extra rinse with 2 cups of tea.

Ingredients

  • 2 Tbsp. clay I prefer bentonite
  • 2 Tbsp. distilled water
  • 4 drops stevia liquid
  • 15 drops essential oils I used wintergreen & tea tree
  • Small pinch sea salt

Instructions

  • Measure out the clay into a small bowl. Use wood or plastic utensils—the clay shouldn't touch metal.
  • Slowly mix in the water until a yogurt-like paste forms (add more or less water as needed).
  • Mix in stevia, essential oils and salt.
  • Transfer to a small jar, cover and store in the cabinet. If the toothpaste begins to dry out, add a few drops of water and mix again.
  • Scoop a pea-size amount of toothpaste onto your toothbrush and brush away!
